Spring Cleaning Round-Up

MY FAVORITE SPRING BEAUTY ROUTINES 

Spring cleaning season is in full-swing at my house! Working with the seasons is an important part of my self care routine, and in the springtime, it’s all about freshening up my spaces, my skincare products, and my routines.  

Over the years, I’ve written about my tips and tricks for keeping beauty products fresh and ready to go! I’ve gathered them all here to inspire your own approach to clearing out and giving new life to your beauty routines this spring.

1 - CLEAN OUT YOUR DRAWERS

I know. I know. It may seem daunting, but don’t panic. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through it. A favorite routine of mine is to clear out my winter make-up and skin-care (ie. darker tints and heavier moisturizers) to make more easily accessible space for my spring go-tos!

2 - TOSS OUT OLD PRODUCTS

3 - WASH YOUR BRUSHES

It’s an often overlooked, but important beauty task to frequently wash your makeup brushes, in order to avoid build-up of oils and bacteria. Read more here (ps. Our Lavender Baby Castile Wash is perfect for this!). If you haven’t washed your brushes in a while (or ever), you might want to stop reading this, and go do that now. Yes, right now! 

4 - TRY A NEW LOOK! 

Spring is the perfect time to try out a new look, and experiment with bright colors. Add some sparkle and shine with a Fruit Smoothie Lip Gloss (shown here in Sonata).
