Description

Think Dirty rating of 1!

Ideal for all skin types, this broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen is lightweight, not at all greasy, anti-aging and chemical-free.  And it's HUGE - 4 ounces!  Click HERE to learn why chemical sunscreens are not awesome.

Titanium Dioxide and Non-Nano Zinc are the physical sunscreens and Matrixyl 3000 as the anti-ager (a majorly proven peptide - read about it here) which improves sun damaged skin, builds collagen and addresses fine lines - it's amazing!

While most sunscreens with Zinc are thick and leave a white cast as long as you rub this one in well it will dry clear*.

Made with a base of Aloe Leaf Juice and Gel for the most in hydration, other key ingredients include Cucumber (reduces hyperpigmentation), Blue Passion Flower (anti-inflammatory), Avocado and Grapeseed Oils (hydrating but non pore-clogging) and Vitamin E (antioxidant).  Contains local and imported microfinanced ingredients.

86% Organic. Vegan.

Appropriate for ages 6 months and up for face and body.

A percentage of sales also goes to CARE which supports women and families in poverty stricken areas across the globe.

Apply as last step of skincare daily.  Reapply every two hours when outdoors and active.

No Retinyl Palmitate/Vitamin A, Parabens, Fragrance, Petrochemicals or Chemicals in general.

Keep in a cool location - if your bathroom has no air conditioning/ventilation it is recommended to keep this product in the refrigerator.

4 oz. with disc cap.

Made in the USA.

*for deeper skintones please order a sample if you are unsure of how the Zinc will read on your skin - it works for some folks and not for others so grab a sample (on the Skincare drop down menu) just to be safe!

Why Chemical Free?

Information has begun to come to light on physical vs. chemical sunscreens (grab your bottle - chances are high it's a chemical sunscreen).  Chemical sunscreens are listed as

OXYBENZONE

AVOBENZONE

OCTISALATE

OCTOCRYLENE

HOMOSALATE

OCTINOXATE

HELIOPLEX

While physical suncreens are listed as

TITANIUM DIOXIDE

ZINC OXIDE

More and more studies have come out outlining how chemical sunscreens, which enter into the bloodstream vs. physical which do not, are linked to hormonal disruption, skin allergies and potentially contribute to cancer (see the studies for the breakdowns).  There are a whole list of sunscreen do's and don'ts HERE that are awesome.

Chemical sunscreens absorb the sun's rays while physical sunscreens block the sun's rays.  Chemical sunscreens must be on for 20 minutes before they're effective while physical sunscreens are effective upon contact.  They also wear off and must be reapplied every 2 hours while physical sunscreens tend to stay put.

People use chemical sunscreens because they blend in super easily.  The one issue with Zinc/Titanium is they have a white cast to them and in the past have been super thick and hard to rub in.  My formula is 5% each of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide and is extremely lightweight and blendable!  I have tested it on every skintone imaginable - from super fair to deep chocolate girls and boys and it blends in on everyone.  It absolutely has to be rubbed in more than a chemical sunscreen but because the texture is so thin it's easy to do.  You apply, rub in and in a couple of minutes the white cast is gone.
