Which Moisturizer Is Right For Me?

FOUR WOMEN, YOUNG, MIDDLE AGED AND OLDER, OF A VARIETY OF SKINTONES IN WHITE TOWELS, LAUGHING

It's getting COLD and your face might be crying out for attention - but which moisturizer do you use??  Here's a breakdown by skin type:

DRY

You have a couple of options - if you like a traditional decadent night cream type of situation we are big fans of our Extreme Moisture Balm.  The texture is rich but it melts into dehyrated skin beautifully.  Organic Shea Butter along with Organic Neem and Evening Primrose Oils deliver massive amounts of hydration without feeling greasy and this vegan moisturizer has no scent.

If you like a super emollient dewy situation then we'd steer you towards our Argan Oil.  You can use it alone OR on top of your favorite moisturizer to seal everything in (as oils are occlusive).  Our Argan Oil is organic, cold-pressed and sustainably produced by a women's co-op in Morocco.  This vegan oil smells a little nutty and is rich in Vitamin E and Omegas.

You have a couple of options too!  If you're an oil fan we recommend our Argan Oil (see above) and if you like a water-based straightforward moisturizer our Silk Cream will be your new BFF.  A mid to lightweight moisturizer it has no scent and sinks into skin immediately.  Silk Peptide Powder boosts hydration while Organic Coconut and Jojoba Seed Oils nourish skin.

Sometimes acne products can dry you out and sometimes it's just winter but it's hard because most moisturizers will break your skin out - we hear you!  That's why we have our Tamanu OilThis 2015 clinicial study discusses the "healing and antibacterial activity" of tamanu oil which is right up your alley if you're dealing with breakouts.  AND it hydrates too!  This vegan oil smells nutty/grassy and is ideal for those with hormonal breakouts as well.

Elizabeth – oh wonderful! Thank you so much! For yoga facial massage if you’re combo to dry I’d rec our Argan Oil and if you’re combo to oily I’d rec our Tamanu Oil – both have excellent slip and we have lots of folks who use them for facial massage :) – thanks for checking!

    Hi Erin,
I am enjoying the two products I’ve bought from you so far. I am looking for an oil type facial product for yoga facial massage. What do you recommend? Thank you, Elizabeth.
