Beauty E-Commerce Office & Production Supervisor

Who we're looking for:

A leader with a positive attitude, who loves details, is adept at training others, is punctual and values a peaceful, supportive and productive working environment. Someone who enjoys a brisk pace and never being bored.

Office Responsibilities:

  • Ensure office operational procedures are in place and followed
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Responsible for maintaining office equipment
  • Open and close office daily (9:00am open, 5:30pm close M-F)
  • Maintain filing system and create new systems as needed
  • Responsible for leading accurate physical counts of inventory of live products, bulk, labels and components
  • Determine sales needs of live products, bulk, labels, and components
  • Point person for mail pickups
  • Point person for shipping supplies
  • Process online orders as needed
  • Fill/label products as needed

Production/Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Providing orientation and training of office procedures to new employees in line with office standards
  • Maintain and update staff manuals as needed
  • Oversee e-commerce orders – with existing staff and train new hires
  • Oversee production - with existing staff and train new hires
  • Manage and evaluate staff’s performance with weekly touch-bases + quarterly reviews
  • Lead daily team meetings and plan monthly team activities
  • Work with management to create daily plan for staff
  • Coordinate with management on managing staff schedules and calendars
  • Ensure top performance of staff by providing adequate coaching and guidance
  • Coordinate weekly cleaning responsibilities with staff
  • Maintain and support company culture

Client Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer service emails/calls
  • Provide customer service to clients during retail hours
  • Support at events

Perform other related duties and responsibilities

Hours:

  • 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday
  • Potential of one weeknight and one weekend day/quarter for events
  • Must be available the month of November along with Black Friday - Dec 2 (including Nov 26 & 27)

Qualifications:

  • Computer proficiency (including basic Excel)
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service, both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills

Salary:

$43,500/year

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Office environment. Standing for extended periods of time. Sitting and keyboarding for extended periods of time. Reaching and stooping for files/products. Helping to handle 5 gallon buckets of product with use of dolly. High attention to detail and ability to focus.
